Complete lifecycle - from A to Z
The concept begins in a feasibility study where estimation and analysis take place. A high-level design provides a complete picture of all hardware and software needs and delivery pattern. This is followed by an implementation phase-based project with initiation, design, build, prepare and deploy before formal go-live takes place and start of operation - initially with a calibration period where SLAs are calibrated and scale/ramp-up of operations and services takes place. NA-KD: Empir Industrys Always On Logistics concept enables e-commerce and automated robot warehousing
In early 2020, Empir Industry received a major order from e-commerce and fashion company NA-KD to deliver services and critical IT infrastructure to NA-KD's new automated Nordic robot warehouse in Landskrona, Sweden which went operational in August 2020. The warehouse is a state-of-the-art and automated distribution center of just over 23,000 sqm with the possibility of expansion. The warehouse is built around an AutoStore solution delivered by Element Logic and the WMS system Manhattan SCALE delivered by IDnet. With its new warehouse, NA-KD is able to continue to deliver on its strong sales growth and improve its lead times to all Nordic customers. Empir Industry's new concept Always On Logistics is the basis for the deal.
